Yealink Discontinues Redirect for EOL Devices – Firmware Coming Soon - Update V2

Written by David Behrens | Oct 9, 2025 11:15:52 AM

Introduction

Starting this week, new firmware versions are available in the NFON Portal for all Yealink devices that have reached End-of-Life (EOL) and can no longer be provisioned via the Yealink Redirect Server.
These updates ensure that devices continue to provision automatically through the NFON system.

Background

Yealink has disabled redirect services for certain legacy models. To maintain compatibility, NFON now provides dedicated firmware versions.
This firmware introduces no new features or functions it simply ensures that after a factory reset, devices connect directly to NFON provisioning instead of using the Yealink Redirect Server.
