The Opportunity For New Partners in AV

The Opportunity For New Partners in AV

There’s been talk for years on how traditional tech resellers can crack the AV market. The industry continues to go from strength to strength. According to research by London-based IHS Markit and AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, the market for professional AV solutions is forecast to hit $230 billion in 2023, which equates to a 4.3% compound annual growth rate.

The market in Europe is expected to move a little slower, at 2.6 per cent, so it certainly doesn’t mean traditional AV resellers can sit on their laurels. Moreover, as they look ahead at a brand-new year, it’s never been a better opportunity for them to take the lead on expanding their own product portfolio – and potentially adding voice into their AV mix.

In the last couple of years, we have seen an increasing convergence between IT and visual communications markets. Here at NFON we have struck strategic partnerships with AV suppliers, including the likes of Sennheiser, which is renowned for its high-fidelity products, including microphones, headphones, telephone accessories and aviation headsets for personal, professional and business applications.

There is clearly a business demand for companies that can address and provide the whole gambit of voice and AV. This would not have been a possibility in the fixed line days, but with the advent of cloud telephony it has never been easier to complement the AV product portfolio with the provision of cloud communications – giving the company a whole new revenue stream.

Marrying the best in breed telephony software with the best audio equipment, so that so users can always be seamlessly connected without customers or colleagues ever having to consider their location, is a no-brainer as we move into 2020.

If you’d like to hear about AV resellers that are already successfully adding our voice solution to their portfolio, and the about the opportunity to drive new revenues, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
